The hive body drawings associated with CTB 6.1 still show the earlier roof beam design. I'd like to know how to cut the "angled pocket entry" for version 6.1. Is there a specific type of bit that I can use for that application?

You just use an end mill bit - it steps down like a pyramid to make the angle. Use the STL file to get the geometry correct. If you're having issues - tag @jonathan

Isn't this something that can just be ripped on a table saw more quickly? We did this on v5. Haven't seen the final on v6. since there is no 19mm file. We ripped the v5 at a 45 degree angle I believe.

Yep that's how we were initially doing it as well - feel free to just take a measurement and handle it that way.

For the 6.1 18mm version, I set the table at 30 degrees with the width at 2.75 inches. Run each side through and this allows the top slat to slide in perfectly.

I've been cutting them down at 30° and yes, they do fit well. Thanks for the suggestions.
